Let's all get clean!
We jumped from Texas to Georgia to play a fair there. Doc takes the rig over to the car wash with the crew because we got into town way early! He tells everyone, look...it's going to be a day or so before they get us water - I'll was the rig and everyone strip down -we'll all get clean for a dollar at the carwash.
Keep in mind, I am only fresh out of high school at this point. Well, the fat lady and the midget strip. The aneroxic tattoo guys strips...Doc has two 'show wives' with him - they strip...Doc and I were the only two dressed.
Doc, hits everyone witn the hose and they soap up....all nude as can be...soapy...wet.
Well, the police pull up...and I don't mean the singing group - they want to arrest everyone and Batman Rick - Well, Rick yells at the cops : "Officer, I'll be right with you - for your own safty, please stay back 10 feet - I have to wash off this chemical spill we got from that bad accident - this crap causes German rot disease - it got on all of us and we have to get it off - it is very toxic. Have you ever seen Gernman Rot Disease Officer?"
The police officer is almost alarmed at this point and he says: "No Sir" Batman goes on rincing people off and the cop is visibly alarmed - he says: 'Well Sir, you have to get washed off and get them down the road out of here." Doc Batman says: "Yes Sir, the hospital won't take um till they are clean...Thank You Officer."
The cops leave - Rick loads up the crew and I stood there thinking just last year I was an innocent high school boy who wanted to be a magician - now this- I am part of a traveling freak show- Oh God...what's next?
So Jim looks at us....you remeber Jim? He is the one that said: Doc, why did thay guy Jump out of the window...well, Jim says to Doc: "What did the cops want Doc?" So Doc says: "Blockhead, that didn't want you to put that hose up your nose." To which Jim says: "Doc, it would never fit...what are the cops in this town stupid?"
